Dr. Anita Kumar is the Director- CII School of Logistics (Noida and Mumbai). She has twelve years of teaching and research experience in multicultural, multinational settings (UK, India, Ireland, Dubai and Singapore) and 10 years Industry experience in the areas of international business, operations, logistics and supply chain management. She has MSc (International Marketing) from University of Strathclyde and PhD (Supply Chain Management) from University College Cork, Ireland. She is the recipient of Lauritzson Research Fellowship, Ireland and Commonwealth Scholarship UK.
She is an early adopter of Innovative Teaching Practices such as flipped classroom model, blended lecture delivery, use of digital technologies to enhance student learning experience.
She is also an enthusiastic researcher, comfortable with both quantitative and qualitative research techniques. She has published in several international journals such as IJLM, IJOPM, Resources Conservation and Recycling, Asian Journal of Marketing and Logistics She has successfully supervised many PhD research scholars in different areas of logistics and supply chain management.
He has over 25 years of corporate experience in senior managerial positions in Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics functions which include Demand Forecasting, Sourcing, International Procurements, Distribution, Warehousing, Inventory Management, Customer Service & ERP deployments. Prior to joining CII- School of Logistics he has also been visiting faculty to various Management Institutes.
His last corporate assignment was as an Associated Vice President (Operations) with Macmillan India and prior to it was as General Manager with Pearson India (leading learning and Education Company in the world) and also has a senior managerial experience of working with large Indian Organizations like Dabur, HCL, and Torrent Pharmaceuticals etc. Sanjay has diversified Industry experience in setting up Supply chain framework across FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Telecommunications and Publishing sectors. He is a Mechanical Engineer with an MBA from IIT (Delhi) and EMIB from IIFT Delhi.
Dr. Smriti Asthana is Associate Professor at CII School of Logistics (Noida). She has fourteen years of teaching and research experience and 5 years Industry experience in the areas of international business operations, logistics and supply chain management. She has MBA-Marketing from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow and PhD (Management, Logistics) from Mohanlal Sukhadia Udaipur University and Certification from IIT Madras and IIM Kashipur in Foundations of Supply Chain Management.
A constant learner, Dr Smriti is also a KPMG certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Her research and teaching interests are in International Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business Operations and Third-Party Logistics with specific focus on Performance Measurement of Third-Party Logistics Organizations in the Indian Logistics Industry. She has published research papers in various International Journals like PPC, Taylor and Francis and presented at Conferences like ISL. She is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Innovative Solutions for Implementing Global Supply Chains in Emerging Markets, IGI Global Journal.

As a Supply Chain Functional SME, He has Supported ITES | Telecom and Distribution Sectors and managed his various Professional Assignments with Vodafone | Mahindra Comviva | Xeeva Inc | Paytm | General Motors and Lear Corporation to name a few. His Notable achievements have been in Creating a Dependable Supply Systems through Sourcing Practices and benchmarking globally | Driving the Cost Efficiencies | Processes Automation along with Improvements in Organizational Operational Performance Index. Currently with CII| Amity University as Assistant Professor and Academically He is Science Graduate, master’s in business management from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, with Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and a member of ISM, USA.
Mr. Vallinayagam T, member of CII IL Academic Advisory Group has twenty-five years of experience as Divisional Head in Forbes Marshall and Divisional Head-Oil and Gas Mechanical in unit of Zubair Group of Companies in Muscat Oman. Vallinayagam has headed Export Oriented Units in Chennai. His specialisations are Plant Optimisation, Manufacturing and Production Control, Supply Chains, International Sourcing, Global Logistics and Operations Management. He has global experience in Contract Sourcing, Vendor Management, Supply Chains and Conference engagements. Also served as Independent Program Chair for Entrepreneur Development Programs for various Engineering and Management Institutions through NTSC and designed EDP Programs.
Besides Corporate and Global experience, Mr. Vallinayagam has served as Consultant-Faculty CII Institute of Logistics, Guest and Visiting Faculty in several education institutions, National and Government bodies; NSIC (MSME) and National Productivity Council in the areas of Entrepreneur Development and Energy Efficiency. He is empaneled in CII IL Academic Advisory Group. He has completed his M.S. (Technological Operations) from BITS Pilani and is a Charted Engineer from Institution of Engineers (India). He also has post Graduate Degree in Management.
Mr. Anuj Kumar is working as an Assistant Professor with CII School of Logistics Amity University, Noida. He has been associated with renowned educational institutions and has a total Academic & Corporate work experience of 10+ years. This includes teaching to MBA, MCA and BBA streams. Besides teaching he has flair in technical Skill as Tableau, Power BI, Python and Machine Learning, and had helped students in realizing their potential and fulfilling their dreams. He is highly motivated to deliver tasks at hand and had been active members of various departmental committees and in mobilizing students driven task to make them manage and execute departmental events. He has published papers and presented papers in various national and international conferences. He holds M.Phil. in Management, MBA in Marketing & I.B and also a certified professional in Data Science & Business Analytics and PYTHON 3.4.3
Dr. Rahul Altekar is currently Director of SAP India Pvt. Ltd. He is also adjunct faculty at CII School of Logistics. He has more than 20 years of experience of Sales & Pre-Sales, Business and IT Consulting, Training and hard core operations. He has extensive Functional Experience in different functions of Supply Chain including Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Purchasing, Distribution and Logistics. He has strong domain expertise in Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Construction, Cement, Textiles, Engineering, Retail, Media and Entertainment industry Verticals. Strong ERP/SCM Consulting and Implementation experience on various platforms and software solutions.
He has conducted more than 400 training sessions on different topics in Supply Chain Management, ERP, Material and Operations, Mathematical Modeling, Business Analysis in Software Development etc. He completed his Ph.D. thesis in Supply Chain Optimization and Relationship Management with suppliers in Indian Manufacturing Sector including MNCs. Authored three books titled “Production Management”, “ERP: Theory & Practice”, “Supply Chain Management: Concepts & Cases”. He has published five research papers at national level journals and three at international level journals in supply chain area.
Prof. Dr. S Rajagopalan is one of the esteemed senior-most faculty members of CII School of Logistics, Amity University Mumbai. He holds PhD Management from JJT University. Apart from this, he also holds degree in MBA-Ops. from ICFAI University with first class and B.Tech (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from I.I.T, Mumbai, India. He has over 3 decades of extensive & dedicated experience in Overall factory operations in Indian Ordnance Factories in Ministry of Defence. He is an experienced Corporate Trainer for reputed organizations in the fields of Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain and related topics. He is a Lead auditor under ISO-9001:2000 and successfully implemented the Quality Management System in organizations.
Prof. A.R Parasuraman is a well-known figure across Management Institutes across Mumbai region. He is visiting faculty at CII School of Logistics, Amity University Mumbai. He has conducted several management programmes for over 1000 multinational, public & private sector companies in INDIA. Senior, middle & operating managers including Managing Directors, CEOS, GMS & VPS have attended the seminars during the last 30 years. He also worked with a British Consulting Firm on a Consulting Project. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and associate member of the Institute of Company secretaries of India. Apart from this, he has Industrial experience of 17 years at Tatas.
Prof. Prasanna Deshpande is a visiting faculty at CII School of Logistics, Amity University Mumbai. He is a Senior Engineering Management Professional with more than 29 years’ experience in design & delivering engineering solutions for major projects including Plant Operation Management, Maintenance operation Management, Installation & Commissioning of Plant and Machinery within process and manufacturing industries. He is highly experienced in fully mechanical & PLC operated sophisticated machines. He has extensive HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE in Pharmaceutical, CD DVD manufacturing, FMCG and PVC pipe manufacturing industries. He has designed many new projects from Scratch. Independently installed projects and imparted technical training to engineers/ technicians. Proven track record in applying different energy saving techniques in UTILITIES and PROCESS in Dubai, Africa & India. He holds an M.Tech (Instrumentation) and an Engineering degree.
Dr Taranjeet Duggal is a professor, and Head of Behavioral Sciences. She holds Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration with specialization in HR and Training. Also holds a Diploma in Training and Development. She has 23 years’ experience in corporate training and in academics. Her areas of interest include providing consultancy and training to various corporate houses. She has been a resource person for training with various public sectors and multinationals like Maruti, Nestle, Hero Honda, Merubani, Escorts, NSDART, NTPC, NHPC, NFC, CWC, Xansa, EIL, LIC etc. Dr Duggal is a vital resource person for Amity Staff College for conducting Faculty Development Programs. She has 30 published papers to her credit and has authored 3 books.
Dr. Vibhuti Mittal is currently a visiting faculty of economics and finance at CII School of Logistics, Amity University. She has done MBA in finance specialization from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, B.Com (Hons.) from Delhi University, and holds a doctoral degree from Amity Business School, Amity University. Her key areas of research extend to finance, macroeconomics, and taxation. She has presented and authored research studies in numerous Scopus, Web of Science, and ABDC journals, and serves as an Ad-hoc reviewer at national and international publishers. She is also a life member of the Indian Commerce Association. Apart from academic writing, she contributes to op-ed columns and articles. She has been intellectual support to many students and her teaching areas majorly include management and cost accounting, financial management, managerial economics, international business, and corporate taxation.
He is a versatile academician and researcher with specialization in the field of writing in English as a second language, Communication Skills, and Emotional Intelligence. Besides holding two PhDs (English and Education) he has done MA (English), MEd (Gold Medalist), and MBA (HRM). He has attended 4th IESEG International Summer Academy 2011 on Intercultural Communication, International Human Resources and Social Entrepreneurship Organized by IESEG School of Management, Paris, France. He has over 17 years of relevant experience of classroom teaching, academic research and development and administration. He teaches Business Communication, Intercultural Communication and Persuasive Communication, English Language and literature and Organizational Behaviour. He has taught Business Communication at IIM Amritsar and Jaypee Business School and has been associated with CII School of Supply Chain and Logistics since 2017.
He has conducted workshops on communication skills, emotional intelligence, leadership and conflict management at various institutions, universities and MNCs and other National Bodies. He has authored 30 quality publications and 8 books in the areas of English as a Second Language, Indian Literature in English and British Literature and 15 book chapters. He has presented 35 papers in international and national conferences. He has supervised PhD, MPhil and MEd students. He has successfully supervised three research scholars and currently five scholars are working under his supervision for her PhD Degree work.
Mohamed Aadil Dalvi is a Consultant (Faculty and Head of Institute) at CII School of Logistics – Amity University, Mumbai. His last assignment was as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Controller of Examinations at Universal AI University’s Universal Business School, Mumbai.
With more than a decade of combined industry and academic experience, Aadil is currently a Ph.D. Research Scholar in Supply Chain Management at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, Malaysia. He holds dual Master’ degrees from Mumbai University in Management Studies and Commerce, complemented by certifications in Six Sigma and Materials Management from Welingkar, Mumbai. He has worked with industries namely All Cargo Logistics, Navio Shipping and the likes and academic institutes such as Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Management Studies & Research, MGM Institute of Management Studies, YMT College, Britts Imperial University College, (UAE), Bharati Vidyapeeth etc.
His scholarly endeavours are evident through his publications and presented research papers, which cover topics such as Mass Customization in automobiles, Sustainable Supply Chain practices in automobiles, Supply Chain Responsiveness, Digital Supply Chain, etc. and case studies focused on Lean Supply Chain & Omni Channel Retail Supply Chain.
Aadil has significant Graduate and Post Graduate teaching experience in several MBA and PGDM courses for both India’s University of Mumbai and Cardiff Metropolitan University in subjects such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Fulfillment and lean Inventory Management, Operations Management, Global Logistics, Materials Management, Total Quality Management, Six Sigma, and Soft Skills & Mentoring.
He is also actively involved in organizing and conducting various events, seminars, and workshops on soft skills & personality development and has also been a part of the examination department at a few institutes.
