Gender Diversity

The CII School of Logistics facilitates and promotes an organisational culture that values equity and gender inclusivity. The school is committed to social responsibility and transformation. It aims to create a vibrant and inclusive intellectual community, as well as a safe and supportive working and learning environment for people of all genders.

The March 2024 issue of Manifest Trade, the school's popular campus magazine, focused on the "De-Genderisation" of job roles in the Indian logistics sector to illustrate the school's emphasis on gender diversity. The issue celebrated the achievements of women all over the world.

The Female Icon of the Month featured in the publication was Ms. Tulsi Nowlakha Mirchandaney, the Managing Director and Accountable Manager at Blue Dart Aviation. The edition also included the perspective of one of its notable alumni – Trisha Manrai. Despite her background in English literature, she joined CII SOL. Within three years, she rose to the position of Sourcing Manager at NXP Semiconductors, based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Speaking to the publication, Ms. Manrai remarked, "Joining the MBA Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme was the best decision of my life. It has shown me a career path that is challenging but very rewarding."
