In addition, visiting faculty members and industry experts consistently share their extensive knowledge with the students, enriching their educational experience.

 

Dr. Anita Kumar

Dr. Anita Kumar is the Director of the CII School of Logistics (Noida and Mumbai). Dr. Kumar has twelve years of teaching and research experience in multicultural, multinational settings (UK, India, Ireland, Dubai and Singapore) and ten years of industry experience in international business, operations, logistics and supply chain management.

Dr. Kumar holds an MSc (International Marketing) from the University of Strathclyde and a PhD (Supply Chain Management) from University College Cork, Ireland. She is the recipient of the Lauritzson Research Fellowship, Ireland and Commonwealth Scholarship U.K.

She has been an early adopter of innovative teaching practices such as the flipped classroom model, blended lecture delivery, and digital technologies to enhance the student learning experience.

She is also a well-regarded researcher, proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research techniques. She has published in international journals such as IJLM, IJOPM, Resources Conservation and Recycling, and the Asian Journal of Marketing and Logistics. She has successfully supervised many PhD research scholars in logistics and supply chain management.

Mr. Sanjay Khanduja

Mr. Khanduja has over 25 years of corporate experience in senior managerial positions in Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics functions, which include Demand Forecasting, Sourcing, International Procurements, Distribution, Warehousing, Inventory Management, Customer Service, and ERP deployments.

His most recent corporate role was as an Associate Vice President (Operations) with Macmillan India. Before that, he served as General Manager with Pearson India, a leading global learning and education company. He also has extensive senior managerial experience working with large Indian organisations such as Dabur, H.C.L., and Torrent Pharmaceuticals, among others.

Mr. Khanduja has diversified industry experience in setting up Supply chain frameworks across FMCG, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and publishing sectors. He is a Mechanical Engineer with an M.B.A. from I.I.T. (Delhi) and EMIB from IIFT Delhi.

Dr. Smriti Asthana

Dr. Smriti Asthana is an Associate Professor at CII School of Logistics in Noida. She has fourteen years of teaching and research experience, as well as five years of industry experience in international business operations, logistics, and supply chain management. She holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow; a PhD (Management, Logistics) from Mohanlal Sukhadia Udaipur University, and a Certification from I.I.T. Madras and I.I.M. Kashipur in Foundations of Supply Chain Management.

A constant learner, Dr Smriti is a KPMG-certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Her research and teaching interest areas are International Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business Operations and Third-Party Logistics with a specific focus on Performance Measurement of Third-Party Logistics Organizations in the logistics industry. She has published research papers in various international journals like P.P.C., Taylor and Francis and presented at conferences like ISL. She is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Innovative Solutions for Implementing Global Supply Chains in Emerging Markets, I.G.I. Global Journal.

Mr. Pramendra Kumar

Mr. Kumar is a seasoned supply chain practitioner with a competitive blend spanning 17 years of industry experience, creating a value-differentiative approach. His forte has been working in Procurement and Supply Chain systems domain practices in technology and non-technology space.

As a Supply Chain Functional S.M.E., Mr. Kumar has supported ITES, telecom and distribution sectors and worked on various professional assignments with Vodafone, Mahindra Comviva, Xeeva Inc., Paytm, General Motors, and Lear Corporation, to name a few.

    His notable achievements include:
  • Creating dependable Supply Systems through Sourcing Practices and benchmarking globally.
  • Driving cost efficiencies.
  • Process automation.
  • Improvements in the Organizational Operational Performance Index.

Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at CII SOL. Mr. Kumar is a science graduate with a Master's in Business Management from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. He is a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and an I.S.M., U.S.A. member.

Mr. Vallinayagam T

Mr. Vallinayagam T, a CII IL Academic Advisory Group member, has twenty-five years of experience as Divisional Head in Forbes Marshall and Divisional Head-Oil and Gas Mechanical in a unit of the Zubair Group of Companies in Muscat, Oman. Mr. Vallinayagam has headed Export Oriented Units in Chennai His specialisations include Plant Optimisation, Manufacturing and Production Control, Supply Chains, International Sourcing, Global Logistics and Operations Management. He has global experience in Contract Sourcing, Vendor Management, Supply Chains, and Conference engagements. He has also served as the Independent Programme Chair for entrepreneur development programs for various engineering and management institutions through NTSC and designed EDP Programs.

Besides his corporate and global experience, Mr. Vallinayagam has served as Consultant-Faculty at the CII Institute of Logistics (CII IL)), a guest and visiting faculty in several education institutions, national and government bodies; NSIC (MSME) and the National Productivity Council in Entrepreneur Development and Energy Efficiency He is a member of the CII IL Academic Advisory Group. He has completed his M.S. (Technological Operations) from BITS Pilani and is a Chartered Engineer from the Institution of Engineers (India). He holds a postgraduate degree in management.

Mr. Anuj Kumar

Mr. Anuj Kumar is an Assistant Professor at the CII School of Logistics in Noida. He has been associated with renowned educational institutions and has a total Academic & Corporate work experience of 10-plus years, which includes teaching M.B.A., M.C.A. and B.B.A. streams. He specialises in teaching technical skills such as Tableau, Power B.I., Python, and Machine Learning.

He is highly motivated to complete tasks and has been an active member of various departmental committees. He is skilled in mobilising students to manage and execute departmental events, helping them realise their potential and fulfil their dreams.

He has published and presented papers at various national and international conferences. He holds an M.Phil. in Management, M.B.A. in Marketing & I.B. and is a certified professional in Data Science & Business Analytics and PYTHON 3.4.3.

Dr. Rahul Altekar

Dr. Rahul Altekar is currently the Director of SAP India Pvt. Ltd. He is also an adjunct faculty at the CII School of Logistics. He has more than 20 years of experience in Sales & Pre-Sales, Business and I.T. Consulting, Training and Operations He has extensive functional experience in different functions of the Supply Chain, including Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Purchasing, Distribution and Logistics. He has strong domain expertise in Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Construction, Cement, Textiles, Engineering, Retail, and Media and Entertainment industry verticals. He also has vast ERP/SCM Consulting and Implementation experience, working on various platforms and software solutions.

He has conducted over 400 training sessions on different topics in Supply Chain Management, ERP, Material and Operations, Mathematical Modeling, Business Analysis in Software Development, etc. He did his PhD thesis on Supply Chain Optimization and Relationship Management focused on suppliers in the Indian manufacturing sector, including the M.N.C.s. He has authored three books titled "Production Management", "ERP: Theory & Practice", and "Supply Chain Management: Concepts & Cases" He has published five research papers in national-level journals and three in international journals in the area of supply chain.

Dr. S. Rajagopalan

Prof. Dr. S. Rajagopalan is one of the senior-most faculty members of the CII School of Logistics. He holds PhD Management from J.J.T. University. He also holds a degree in MBA-Ops. from the ICFAI University with first-class and a B.Tech (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from I.I.T. Mumbai, India He has over three decades of extensive and dedicated experience in factory operations in ordnance factories in India's Defence Ministry. He is an experienced corporate trainer for reputed organisations in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain and related topics He is a Lead Auditor under ISO-9001:2000 and has successfully implemented the Quality Management System in organisations.

Mr. A R Parasuraman

Prof. A.R Parasuraman is a visiting faculty at the CII School of Logistics. He has conducted several management programmes for over 1000 multinational, public & private sector companies in India for Managing Directors, C.E.O.s, General Managers and Vice Presidents of organisations during the last 30 years He also worked with a British Consulting Firm on a Consulting Project He is a fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India Apart from this, he has industrial experience of 17 years at the Tata Group.

Mr. Prasanna Deshpande

Prof. Prasanna Deshpande is a visiting faculty at the CII School of Logistics. He is a senior engineering management professional with more than 29 years of experience in the design and delivery of engineering solutions for major projects that include Plant Operation Management, Maintenance operation Management, and Installation & Commissioning of Plant and Machinery within process and manufacturing industries He is highly experienced in fully mechanical & P.L.C.-operated sophisticated machines. He has extensive hands-on experience in Pharmaceutical, CD/DVD manufacturing, FMCG and P.V.C.-pipe-manufacturing industries. He has a proven track record in applying different energy-saving techniques in utilities and processes in Dubai, Africa and India. He holds an M.Tech (Instrumentation) and an Engineering degree.

Dr.Taranjeet Duggal

Dr.Taranjeet Duggal is Professor and the Head of Behavioral Sciences. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration with a specialisation in H.R. and Training. She also holds a diploma in Training and Development. Dr. Duggal has 23 years of experience in corporate training and academics Her areas of interest include providing consultancy and training to various corporate houses She has been a resource person for training at various public sectors and multinationals like Maruti, Nestle, Hero Honda, Merubani, Escorts, NSDART, NTPC, NHPC, N.F.C., C.W.C., Xansa, E.I.L., L.I.C., etc. Dr. Duggal is a vital resource person for the Amity Staff College for conducting Faculty Development Programs She has published 30 papers and authored three books.

Dr. Vibhuti Mittal

Dr. Vibhuti Mittal teaches economics and finance at CII School of Logistics, Amity University She has done M.B.A. in finance specialisation from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, B.Com (Hons.) from Delhi University, and holds a doctoral degree from Amity Business School, Amity University Her key areas of research extend to finance, macroeconomics, and taxation She has presented and authored research studies in numerous Scopus, Web of Science, and ABDC journals, and serves as an Ad-hoc reviewer at national and international publishers She is also a life member of the Indian Commerce Association Apart from academic writing, she contributes to op-ed columns and articles She has been intellectual support to many students and her teaching areas majorly include management and cost accounting, financial management, managerial economics, international business, and corporate taxation.

Dr. Anil Sehrawat

Dr Sehrawat is a versatile academician and researcher specialising in writing in English as a second language, Communication Skills, and Emotional Intelligence. Besides holding two PhDs (English and Education), he has done M.A. (English), M.Ed. (Gold Medalist), and M.B.A. (H.R.M.) He has attended the 4th IESEG International Summer Academy 2011 on Intercultural Communication, International Human Resources and Social Entrepreneurship Organized by the IESEG School of Management, Paris, France He has over 17 years of relevant experience of classroom teaching, academic research and development and administration He teaches Business Communication, Intercultural Communication and Persuasive Communication, English Language, Literature and Organizational Behaviour He has taught Business Communication at I.I.M. Amritsar and Jaypee Business School and has been associated with the CII School of Logistics since 2017.

He has conducted workshops on communication skills, emotional intelligence, leadership and conflict management at various institutions, universities and, M.N.C.s and other National Bodies He has authored 30 publications and eight books in the areas of English as a Second Language, Indian Literature in English and British Literature and 15 book chapters. He has presented 35 papers at international and national conferences He has supervised PhD, MPhil and MEd students. He has successfully supervised three research scholars.

Mr. Mohamed Aadil Mohamed Salim Dalvi

Mr. Mohamed Aadil Dalvi is a Consultant (Faculty and Head of Institute) at CII School of Logistics in Mumbai. His last assignment was as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Controller of Examinations at Universal A.I. University's Universal Business School, Mumbai.

With over a decade of combined industry and academic experience, Mr. Dalvi is currently a Ph.D. Research Scholar in Supply Chain Management at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, Malaysia. He holds a dual Master's from Mumbai University in Management Studies and Commerce, complemented by certifications in Six Sigma and Materials Management from Welingkar, Mumbai He has worked with several organisations, namely Allcargo Logistics, Navio Shipping, among others, and academic institutes such as Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Management Studies & Research, M.G.M. Institute of Management Studies, Y.M.T. College, Britts Imperial University College, (U.A.E.), Bharati Vidyapeeth etc.

His scholarly endeavours are evident through his publications and presented research papers covering topics such as Mass Customization in automobiles, Sustainable Supply Chain practices in automobiles, Supply Chain Responsiveness, Digital Supply Chain, etc. and case studies focused on Lean Supply Chain & Omni Channel Retail Supply Chain.

Mr. Dalvi has significant Graduate and Post Graduate teaching experience in several M.B.A. and PGDM courses for both India's University of Mumbai and Cardiff Metropolitan University in subjects such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Fulfillment and lean Inventory Management, Operations Management, Global Logistics, Materials Management, Total Quality Management, Six Sigma, and Soft Skills & Mentoring.

He is also actively involved in organising and conducting various events, seminars, and workshops on soft skills & personality development. He has also been a part of the examination department at a few institutes.

Ms. Papia Bera

Ms. Papia Bera is a faculty member of the CII School of Logistics, Noida campus. She is a first-generation entrepreneur with over six years of experience launching and expanding food businesses Ms. Bera is the director and creator of Nomads Neutraceuticals Pvt. Ltd., a healthy food and beverage manufacturing startup that received Startup India certification In 2016, she became the youngest Business Incubatee at the Indian Agriculture Research Institute Agri-Incubation Center of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) She was awarded the prestigious Grant-in-Aid of Seed Funds under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY)—Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sector Rejuvenation (RAFTAAR) Scheme for closely working and supporting small and medium farmers' income and developing her post-harvest technology-based products that got sold in Delhi N.C.R.'s 50+ premium retail outlets.

Ms. Bera led the e-commerce logistics department while working for the global sports brand Decathlon India She also had a brief stint in new product and business development for a startup that manufactured personal care products and catered to brands like Hindustan Unilever, Mama Earth, Nykaa, Colorbar, Modicare, etc She provides a distinctive pedagogy for courses like entrepreneurship, supply chain solution design, e-commerce and retail management, etc., with an extensive focus on offering interactive learning.

She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Sharda University and an M.B.A. from Vedica Scholars Programme for Women, Delhi, specialising in women's leadership, liberal arts and communication. Ms. Bera is a certified chocolatier, a tea sommelier, and a passionate gardener.
